CONTEST OPEN TO LEGAL RESIDENTS OF THE 50 UNITED STATES AND THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA, 18 & OLDER
US LAWS GOVERN THIS PROMOTION

1. Promotion Timing/Description:
The Puff Pastry to Paris Recipe Contest (“Promotion”) begins 12:01 AM Eastern Time (ET) 10/30/08 & ends 11:59 PM ET 2/28/09 (“Promotion Period”). The Promotion is a contest of culinary skill and entries may only be submitted online. The Promotion will consist of two (2) parts, judged (the “Grand Prize” contest) and popular voting (the “Fan Favorite” voting). Grand Prize Contest: Begins 10/30/08 and ends 12/31/08 (“Entry Period”). Entrants will be invited to submit an original recipe using any Pepperidge Farm Puff Pastry product and complete an Entry Form (together with the recipe, and Entry Form will be the “Entry”). All Entries must be received by 11:59 PM ET on 12/31/08 and will be judged based on the judging criteria in Rule No. 5 below. The three highest scoring Entries in each of the three (3) entry categories (defined in No. 3 below), for a total of nine (9) entries, will be named finalists (each known as a “Finalist”), and will go on to the Final Judging for a chance to win the Grand Prize. The Final Judging to determine the three (3) Grand Prize winners will take place in Campbell’s Kitchen, by a panel of experts, on or about 1/15/09. Fan Favorite Voting: All nine (9) Finalists will also be entered in the voting for one (1) Fan Favorite. Fan Favorite Voting will begin 2/2/09 and end 2/28/09. (“Voting Period”). Consumers visiting www.puffpastry.com will be asked to vote online for their favorite recipe created by a Finalist. The Finalist Entry that receives the most votes during the Voting Period will be declared the Fan Favorite, subject to verification.

2. How To Submit an Entry:
An Official Entry Form can be found at www.puffpastry.com. Log on to the website, click on the icon for the Puff Pastry to Paris Recipe Contest, and you will be taken to the home page. Complete the Entry Form by entering your name, address, email address, and phone number. Then complete the recipe portion by entering the recipe name, Pepperidge Farm Puff Pastry product used, (which determines category), recipe category, preparation time, number of servings, ingredients needed, preparation instructions, utensils and cooking time required. A photograph of the prepared recipe is not required, but you may include a photo. The photo will not be used in judging nor posted in the voting. If photo is submitted, it must be in a jpg or gif format with a maximum file size of 200K. The photo will not be judged. Once the Entry Form is complete, click submit to be entered in the Promotion. Your recipe must be original, and in English. Ingredients must be commonly available for purchase in ordinary US food stores and stated in exact standard US measurements. Instructions must include step-by-step preparation and cooking and/or assembly instructions, cooking times, and cooking heat levels. All entries must be received by 11:59 PM ET 12/31/08. Entries received after that date will not be included in the judging. Entries become the property of the Sponsor, and will not be acknowledged or returned. Proof of submission of any Entry will not be deemed proof of receipt. If a dispute results as to the identity of an online entrant, it will be determined that the online entry was submitted by the authorized account holder of the email address from which the entry is made. For these purposes, the authorized account holder is the natural person assigned to an email address by an Internet access provider, on-line service provider or other organization responsible for assigning email addresses or the domain associated with the submitted email address.

3. Entry Details:
Official Entry Form must be used for entry. Entries that are not on the Official Entry Form will not be accepted. Entry must be entrant’s original recipe, and be executed solely by the entrant. It may not have been previously published, or have won any other awards. Entrant must be the person who created and submitted the recipe. Entries will be broken down into three categories for judging. The type of Pepperidge Farm Puff Pastry product used will determine the category for entry, and the type of product used will determine category eligibility. The three (3) categories are: Category 1: Puff Pastry Sheets: Category 2: Puff Pastry Shells/Mini Shells: and Category 3: Pepperidge Farm Turnovers. Pepperidge Farm, Inc., 595 Westport Ave. Norwalk, CT 06851 (“Sponsor”) assumes no responsibility for incorrect or inaccurate entry information, human error or technical malfunctions, inability to access the website, failure of any computer equipment or software, or any combination thereof, or for lost, stolen, late, illegible, or misdirected Entries. You may enter as often as you wish, but there is a limit of one (1) Entry per email address per day; one (1) recipe per Entry, and each Entry submitted must be substantially different. Residents of MD, CO and VT may use any frozen sheet, shell or turnover product.

4. Entry Limitations:
No mechanically reproduced, illegible, incoherent, unusable, unsuitable, or incomplete entries, or those that do not comply with the criteria will be accepted. Sponsor is not responsible for typographical errors, or any other errors in Entries submitted by entrants. Modifying, enhancing or altering a third party’s pre-existing work does not qualify as an entrant’s original creation. Entry may not infringe upon any third party’s copyright, patent, trademark, trade secret or other proprietary rights or rights of publicity or privacy, is wholly original with entrant and as of the date of submission, Is not he subject of any actual or threatened litigation or claim. Entry may not be obscene, offensive, libelous, pornographic, threatening, abusive or contain otherwise objectionable content. By entering, Entrant forfeits to Sponsor all rights to content of Entry and the concepts embodied therein. Entrant unconditionally assigns and transfers to Sponsor all rights, title interest and claim, which it now has or may in the future have to the Entry or any element(s) thereof including, without limitation the copyright therein. Sponsor has the right, in its sole discretion, to use, alter, assign or dispose of such Entries however it deems fit without approval of Entrants. By entering, Entrants agree that they do not have any right to bring (and they agree not to bring) any claim, action or proceeding of any kind or nature whatsoever against Sponsor, Promoter, Land & Associates, or any of their affiliated companies, subsidiaries, agent, employees, or shareholders in connection with this Promotion. Entrants grant the Sponsor right to use the Entrant’s name, images, likeness, voice and biographical materials as well as the Entry for advertising, publicity, and promotional purposes, except where prohibited. Entrants, finalists and winners shall not be entitled to receive any compensation or credit for use of entries, other than that disclosed in these Official Rules. Entrant hereby agrees to indemnify and hold the “Releasees” (defined below) harmless from and against any and all third party claims, actions, or proceedings of any kind and from any and all damages, liabilities, costs and expenses relating to or arising out of any breach or alleged breach of any of the warranties, representations or agreements of entrant hereunder. Any entrant whose work includes likenesses of third parties, or contains properties not owned by the entrant or Pepperidge Farm (such as, but not limited to depictions of buildings, trademarks or logos) must be able to provide legal releases for such use, including Sponsor’s use of such entry, in a form satisfactory to judges and Sponsor.

5. Judging and Determination of Finalists:
All eligible Entries will be separated by the Puff Pastry product used in the recipe. All Entries in the three (3) entry categories will be judged based on the following criteria: originality – 33%, ease of use – 33%, taste appeal – 34%. Each Entry will be scored by a panel of judges, under the supervision of Strobe Promotions, Inc. 535 So. Broadway, Suite 203, Hicksville, NY 11801 (“Promoter”), an independent judging organization. Three (3) entrants with the top-scoring Entries in each entry category (for a total of nine (9) top-scoring Entries) will be declared Finalists, and will go on to the Grand Prize Final Judging and to the Fan Favorite voting. Becoming a Finalist is subject to validation and verification of eligibility and compliance with the Official Rules. In the event of a tie, the Entries involved will be reviewed by an additional judge who will serve as the tiebreaker, and who will evaluate the Entries according to the criteria outlined above. The decisions of the judges are final and binding on all matters relating to this Promotion. Finalists will be determined on or about 1/10/09.

6. Final Judging for Grand Prize:
The entries of the nine (9) finalists will be included in a Final Judging to be held on or about 1/15/09. Each Finalist’s recipe will be prepared, tasted and judged, by a panel of expert judges, overseen by Promoter, based on the criteria outlined in No. 5 above. The top scoring entry in each of the three (3) entry categories, Puff Pastry Sheets, Puff Pastry Shell/Mini Shells, and Puff Pastry Turnovers, will be deemed the Grand Prize winner for their category. In the event of a tie, the Entries involved will be reviewed by an additional judge who will serve as the tiebreaker, and who will evaluate the Entries according to the criteria stated above. There will be a total of three (3) Grand Prize winners.

7. Grand Prize Winner Notification:
Winners will be required to sign and execute an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability Release and where legal, a Publicity Release, and if applicable, a federal and state tax release (IRS Form W-9), and return same, properly executed, within 14 days of issuance of notification. Failure to return any or all documents as specified, or potential winner not complying with any term of these Official Rules, will result in the participant being disqualified and an alternate Finalist chosen. A prize or prize notification being returned as undeliverable will result in the participant being disqualified and the prize may be awarded to an alternate winner. Grand Prize winners will be notified on or about 3/5/09 via the email address submitted on the Official Entry Form. Sponsor retains all rights in and to the Entry and all portions thereof, including without limitation, the right to edit, publish, use, adapt, modify or dispose of any entries, proper names, likenesses or photographs and entry for advertising and promotional purposes in all media (including without limitation, the Internet), without additional compensation, except where prohibited by law.

8. Fan Favorite Voting Period:
All nine (9) Finalists’ recipes will be posted, along with a photo of the prepared recipe taken by Sponsor, on the Puff Pastry to Paris Recipe Contest Voting Site (“Voting Site”) at www.puffpastry.com during the Voting Period. Finalists will be notified prior to posting of their entry prior to the Voting. Throughout the Voting Period, (2/2/09 – 2/28/09) consumers may vote for their favorite recipe. A recipe and {photo (if applicable)} will be posted for each Finalist Entry on the Voting Site. Votes may only be submitted online. Upon conclusion of the Voting Period, Promoter will tally the votes for each Finalist and determine the potential Fan Favorite winner. The Fan Favorite Winner will be the Finalist with the greatest number of valid votes. Voting is limited to one (1) vote per person per day. Subsequent votes cast by the same person on the same day will be void. Winning is subject to validation. In the event of a tie, the Entries involved in a tie will be reviewed by an additional judge appointed by the Sponsor who will serve as the tie-breaker and who will evaluate the tied Entries according to the criteria outlined in Rule No. 5 above. Fan Favorite winner will be notified on or about 3/5/09 and announced on www.puffpastry.com.

9. Eligibility:
Open to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia, age 18 or older at time of entry. Professional chefs, caterers, food stylists and any other Individuals involved in the preparation of food or recipes are not eligible. In addition, employees, directors and officers, and their immediate families (spouse, parents, children, siblings, and their respective spouses), and the respective household members, of Sponsor, their parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, divisions, agents, advertising and promotion agencies, and Strobe Promotions, Inc., are not eligible to participate. Promotion is subject to all federal, state, and local laws. U.S. law governs this Promotion. Promotion void in APO/FPOs outside the US, PR & where prohibited, taxed or restricted by law. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify participants who violate these Official Rules or interfere with this Promotion in any manner. Entrants agree that any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Promotion or any prize awarded, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and shall be governed by the laws of the state of New Jersey.

10. Prizes:
(3) Grand Prizes: One Grand Prize will be awarded to the highest scoring Entry in each of the three (3) Entry categories. The Grand Prize consists of a 7 day 6 night trip for two (2) to Paris, France, and includes round trip coach air transportation from the closest major airport to the winner’s home to Paris, France, 6 nights double occupancy hotel accommodations, culinary activities that includes a Paris food walking tour, and $5,000 spending money. Approx. retail value (“ARV”): $11,300/each. Total ARV of all Grand Prizes: $33,900. Grand Prize winners and guests must travel on the same itinerary and guests must sign travel release prior to ticketing. All travel, and accommodations and other Prize related activities are at the winner’s, and guests’ own risk. (1) Fan Favorite Prize: A $500 cash prize, and an autographed cookbook by Camilla Saulsbury. ARV: $517.

11. Prize Restrictions:
Prizes are non-transferable; no substitutions allowed except by Sponsor due to unavailability, in which case substitution will be of equal or greater value. Actual ARV of Grand Prize may vary based on winner’s point of departure and existing rates at time of travel and any difference between the stated ARV and the actual value if any, will not be awarded. Final travel arrangements and choice of hotels to be determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. Trip prize must be taken by 3/1/10 or prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner may be selected. Travel subject to availability and confirmation of reservations, certain travel restrictions and blackout dates may apply. Winners and guests must possess Passport, valid ID, and any other travel documents required in order to travel. Winners and guests are responsible for obtaining travel insurance (and all other forms of insurance) where applicable, at their option, and hereby acknowledge that the Sponsor has not and will not obtain or provide travel insurance or any other form of insurance. If any part of the Grand Prize is unable to take place as planned, for any reason, beyond the control of the Sponsor, including but not limited to, cancellation, scheduling conflicts, political conflicts or war or an event of force majeure, the remaining components of the prize will be awarded and Sponsor’s obligation to the winners will be fulfilled, and no other additional compensation will be provided. Guests who are minors must be accompanied by parent/legal guardian. Winners, or parent or legal guardian of minor guests must sign travel release. Grand Prize Winners must confirm available travel dates and flight times selected by the Sponsor at least three (3) weeks prior to travel dates. No extension or change or trip dates permitted. Sponsor will not replace any lost or stolen tickets, travel vouchers, certificates or similar items once they are in the Grand Prize Winners’ possession, or in the possession of Grand Prize Winner’s guest. Limit one Grand Prize per individual/family/household. All applicable taxes and any other costs not specifically stated herein are responsibility of the winner. Prizes may not be transferred, substituted or redeemed for cash, except at the Sponsor’s sole discretion. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if advertised prize is unavailable at the time the prize is awarded. Any and all guarantees and warranties of merchandise prizes are subject to the manufacturers’ terms and conditions, and winners agree to look solely to such manufacturers for any such warranty or guarantee claim.

12. Conditions of Participation:
Entrants release and hold harmless Sponsor, their parent companies, affiliates, agencies, Strobe Promotions, Inc. and their employees, officers, directors and shareholders (“Releasees”) from any claims, actions, injury, loss or damage of any kind, including but not limited to, personal injury or death, resulting from participating in this Promotion or from the acceptance, possession, use or misuse of any prize awarded or participation in any prize-related activity.

13. Additional Terms and Restrictions:
Finalists will be determined and the Grand Prizes awarded provided there are a sufficient number of eligible Entries received. Caution: Any attempt by an entrant or any other individual to deliberately damage any online service or website, tamper with the voting process, or otherwise undermine the legitimate operation of the Promotion is a violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made, Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages and/or other remedies from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law. Failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision. Entries not complying with all rules are subject to disqualification. No correspondence regarding Entries will be entered into with entrants other than the three (3) final winners.

14. Internet:
If for any reason this Promotion is not capable of running as planned due to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of the Sponsor which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Promotion, or due to any action(s), regulation(s), order(s), or request(s) by any governmental or quasi-governmental entity, equipment failure, including overloading of a website due to excessive use, threatened terrorist act(s), terrorist act(s), air raid(s), blackout(s), act(s) of public enemy, earthquake(s), war(s) (declared or undeclared), fire(s), flood(s), epidemic(s), explosion(s), unusually severe weather, hurricane(s), embargo(s), labor dispute(s) or strike(s) (whether legal or illegal), labor or material shortage(s), transportation interruption(s) of any kind, work slow-down(s), civil disturbance(s), insurrection(s), riot(s), or any other similar or dissimilar cause(s) beyond Sponsors' sole and reasonable control, then the Sponsor reserves the right at Sponsor’s sole discretion, to void any Entries at issue, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion in whole or in part, at any time, without notice and award the prizes using all non-suspect eligible entries received as of this termination date. Releasees (as defined in No. 2 above) assume no responsibility for incorrect or inaccurate transcription of Entry information, or for any human or printing error, technical malfunctions, lost/delayed data transmission, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, line failures of any kind including computer equipment, software, inability to access any online service or web site, inability to submit the online registration form, or any other error or malfunction, or for destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries, or for late, lost, stolen, illegible or misdirected entries. Promotion materials that have been tampered with or altered are void. Releasees are not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any servers, or providers failure of any e-mail or entry to be received by Sponsor on account of technical problems, human error or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any Website, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to participant’s or any other person’s computer relating to or resulting from participation in this Promotion or downloading any materials in this Promotion. Sponsor’s failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that or any other provision. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify entrants who violate the rules or interfere with this Promotion in any manner. If an entrant is disqualified, Sponsor reserves the right to terminate that entrant’s eligibility to participate in the Promotion. Any attempts by an individual to access any website associated with this competition via a bot script or other brute force attack or any other unauthorized means will result in the IP address becoming ineligible. Use of automated entry devices or programs is prohibited.
